Congratulations on your engagement. If you are looking for a memorable location for your upcoming event your ship has come in – The American Rover can accommodate up to 100 for your ceremony and reception. If you choose to have only reception on board we can accommodate up to 120 guests.

In addition to providing a unique and elegant venue for your event, we offer a full line of bar options and professional DJ services. Catering service is provided by two of Hampton Road’s Premiere Caterers: Gourmet Gang or Taste Catering.

When having a wedding aboard the American Rover there is an additional wedding fee of $250, which includes our wedding planning assistance up to and during the day of your event. This fee also covers time for a rehearsal the day prior to your ceremony and early boarding for the bride on the wedding day.

While many aspects of your wedding day are taken care of by the American Rover staff, there are a few additions to your wedding that you must provide on your own. These include your wedding cake, an officiant for your wedding ceremony, a photographer, and any additional decorations and flowers you would like to use. We would be happy to assist you in your vendor selection.
